Excited to be part of FORMAT19 in Derby, UK this year with an installation of The Blue Skies Project… I’ve always kept a keen eye on this photo festival, this year themed FOREVER//NOW. From March 15 to April 14.
Reproductions of the original polaroid images will be displayed along with Ruben’s sound piece at the Elizabeth Holden Gallery during photo+sphere in Asheville. Opening night on November 1st, 2018. Wonderful working together with curators Eric Baden and Kaylee Dunn.
The first full installation with 1078 reproductions from The Blue Skies Project, as part of the main 2018 programme of Getxophoto in Getxo near Bilbao, Spain.
I'm excited to be part of this one. From September 5 to 30, 2018.

I'm part of a group exhibition organised by VONK ateliers and Z33 House for contemporary art , in which they focus on how the artist's studio looks like in all its shapes and forms. We're even collaborating with an architect studio to literally build concept ateliers, where we will be working (semi-) publicly over the course of 6 weeks.
In my case, I'll be executing a crucial part of the in-progress Blue Skies Project: on a custom built massive wall I'll have the chance to work to find the exact layout of the 1,078 blue sky images for the actual installation that will be made later this year. Come visit me... I'll have drinks at hand :)

Mono No Aware will be featured in premiere at Ingrid Deuss Gallery in Antwerp. And for the first time ever, the images will be accompanied by words, lifting the veil just a little on the stories behind them.
I'm absolutely thrilled to be working together with Ingrid. Since the day we first met, she immediately took my work to heart... and never stopped. Absolutely beautiful.
Come and grab a beer at the opening... I'll be there personally, it'll be great to meet!
